Shipping and Returns
General shipping and return policies.
- A valid email address in your order is vital to a smooth transaction for all. We are an internet business and therefore will conduct most, often all, of our contact by email. It is not possible to answer all emails with a phone call.
- Shipping is by United States Postal Service and UPS according to the weight of the product and insurance or special packaging needed. S
- Shipping refund is awarded when we do not meet the required time. Choosing 2nd day air means only that we will use the shipping method we believe to be the best option to deliver your product in that time frame and does not guarantee that your package will be shipped by UPS or USPS but according to our discretion.
- Minimum shipping for international orders are: $12.00 - freight and $15.50 - air. Your international shipping charge will be confirmed before shipping the products. If your card is automatically charged by our processor we will refund the order and ask you to place it again choosing the correct shipping method.
- All products with proof of damage will be replaced.
- Affinity products have a 30 day conditional guarantee for first time customers only. This means that you have 30 days from the time of receipt to return the remaining product and we will issue a partial credit back to you, if you are not satisfied. The stipulations of the return are below.
- We reserve the right to adjust the shipping amount if you have not chosen the appropriate method. Example: If you give only a PO Box number which UPS does not deliver to, then we must charge extra for that order. Generally USPS is more expensive by weight.
- When products are damaged in shipping another will be sent for replacement with proof of damage. If delivered by UPS you must open the package to ensure it is not damaged. If is by USPS your post master can help you with proof.
- Whenever possible products are shipped within 2-3 business days. Please note that this says usually. 2 day air orders are shipped that day if the order is received by 12:00 EST. Our UPS pickup is shortly after that, EST, and we are bound by that timeframe. (sometimes pickup is later but not guaranteed)
- Some products are drop shipped and we will act on behalf of you and the supplier.
- If a product will be out of stock for an unreasonable time we will notify you and ask if you wish to hold your order or to cancel. This also shows the necessity for a valid email on your order. Make sure you receive an answer from us if you cancel your order. If you receive the product you have cancelled DO NOT OPEN but instead write return to sender or refuse it from the UPS or USPS delivery person.
- All orders returned without proper cancellation will be charged a restocking fee of 15% before a credit is applied and our cost of shipping to you. Shipping is non-refundable.
- If shipping was considered free in the shopping cart, but the above has occurred, we will deduct our shipping costs along with the restocking fee before crediting the account.
- Any product considered for return must have an RAN - Return Authorization Number from our company and must be diplayed on the outside of the package in large print; easily seen.
- We DO NOT accept packages that are beyond the return date for the Affinity products below. This is very important. 30 days mean 30 days; not 31, 35 or 40... The Affinity product guarantee below is very generous and needs no additional time to try the products. These products need to be returned to the manufacturer and the time limit is concrete.
Return and shipping procedures for Affinity products only.
These products include those with Affinity in the name and for reference can be found at http://www.seaenergyweb.com There are other products listed on some Affinity product sites so please check before ordering or returning. Returns or conditional money back guarantees are only for first time purchases on those products.
- On our Affinity product sites we do not charge for outgoing standard shipping for continental US.
- When an Affinity product is returned for refund these charges will be be calculated along with the 15% restocking fee before a credit is issued.
- We do not absorb or pay for return shipping to our company.
- To figure out your credit for the order follow this formula:
- Order amount: $100.00 - 15% restocking ($15.00) = $85.00. $85.00 - $6 (an arbitrary shipping amount) = $79.00.
- The balance will be refunded, in the same manner as purchased. Both restocking and time guidelines apply to all orders.
- We DO NOT extend guarantee times since we also have time restrictions to be credited for returned products.
- Orders must be returned and received within 30 days of purchase to receive any refund at all. If the order is shipped late then 30 days from that date of receipt will count for the guarantee.
- We recommend tracking be placed on your return shipment for proof should we not receive it. Use a carrier with tracking; USPS or UPS. This will provide each party with dates for proof of delivery and return date.
- Please order responsibly since you may be responsible for fees on all products returned. We do not want you to lose money but to lose weight and/or gain health.
- Cancellation by email followed by a phone call are the best options for the fact that it provides proof of return procedures for both parties.
- A container of the product is necessary for refund. These bottles are sent to the manufacturer for our credit as well.
- Lastly, a note stating why you are returning the product must accompany the return. Please include this in the package.
- Products drop shipped from Affinity directly will follow the same procedures but you will need to contact customer service on the enclosed invoice to arrange the same.
- Within these guidelines we are happy to provide our customers with an opportunity to try outstanding products. Enjoy your health.
These guidelines are not meant to be complicated but merely spelled out to save confusion for our customers. We desire the best for you but as a business we have to also be concerned for our interests as well. Unfortunately there are some who will believe rules and regulations are for bending.
